Privacy Policy
Version 1.0 · Effective July 12, 2026
Bizlio Bridgeworks LLC, a Texas limited liability company (Bizlio, we), operates the website at bizlio.co (the Service). For the personal data described in this policy, Bizlio is the data controller. Contact: bizlio@proton.me.
The short version: we collect only what our application form asks for. We use it to evaluate your application and contact you. We never sell your personal data, and we never use it to train AI models. We use no analytics, no advertising trackers, and we set no cookies. We delete applications that do not lead to an engagement after 12 months.
1. What we collect
Information you give us — when you submit the form at bizlio.co/apply:
- Name and email address (required) — so we know who is applying and can respond to you.
- Company and your role (required) — to evaluate fit for our consulting practice.
- Message (optional) — context you choose to add. Please do not include confidential or sensitive information.
- Submission time and the policy versions you accepted (automatic) — to manage applications and record your agreement.
Information collected automatically— our hosting providers (Vercel for the website, Supabase for the database) generate standard server logs that may include your IP address, browser type, and request metadata. We do not use these logs to identify or profile you; they exist for security and operations and are retained per those providers’ standard schedules.
What we do NOT collect or do: no cookies set by us. No analytics or advertising trackers. No session recording. No location, contacts, camera, microphone, or photo access. No payment information — nothing is sold through the Service. No accounts or passwords. No data purchased from or shared with data brokers.
2. What we never do
- We never sell your personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.
- We never use your personal data to train artificial-intelligence models.
- We do not engage in targeted advertising or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
3. How we use your data
- Evaluating and responding to your application — where GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we rely on steps taken at your request prior to entering a contract and on our legitimate interests.
- Contacting you about Bizlio services after you apply — based on our legitimate interest in business-to-business communication. Every marketing email we send identifies us and includes a working unsubscribe mechanism, and we honor opt-outs promptly. We do not send marketing texts or make marketing calls — we do not collect phone numbers.
- Security, abuse prevention, and operations — hosting logs, based on our legitimate interests.
- Complying with law and legal process — as required.
4. Who receives your data
We share personal data only with the infrastructure providers that run the Service, acting on our instructions under data-processing agreements: Supabase (database hosting — application form data) and Vercel (web hosting — request logs).
We may also disclose data if required by law, or in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale — in which case this policy’s promises, including never-sell and never-train, bind the successor or we will notify you before any change.
5. International transfers
Bizlio is based in the United States and uses U.S.-based service providers; your data may be processed in the United States and other countries where our providers operate. Where GDPR or UK GDPR applies, transfers are protected by our processors’ data-processing agreements incorporating Standard Contractual Clauses or another lawful transfer mechanism.
6. Retention and deletion
- Applications that do not lead to an engagement are deleted within 12 months of our decision.
- Applications that lead to an engagement are retained as part of the engagement record, governed by the engagement agreement.
- Hosting and security logs are retained per our providers’ standard schedules.
- You can request earlier deletion at any time (see Section 7).
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act and GDPR/UK GDPR), you may have rights to: access the personal data we hold about you; correct it; delete it; receive a portable copy; object to or restrict certain processing; opt out of marketing at any time; and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
How to exercise them: email bizlio@proton.me. We will verify you (normally by corresponding through the email on your application), respond within 45 days (extendable once where permitted, with notice), and charge no fee for a first request. If we decline a request, we will say why, and you may appeal by replying to our decision; we will respond to appeals within the period required by applicable law. We never discriminate against you for exercising your rights.
You may also complain to a supervisory authority — in Texas, the Office of the Attorney General; in the EU or UK, your local data-protection authority.
8. Security
Application data is stored in a database with row-level security: the public-facing key can only insert applications and cannot read them back; read access requires a server-side secret key held only by Bizlio. Data is encrypted in transit. No method is 100% secure, but we collect little and guard it. Security issues can be reported to bizlio@proton.me.
9. Children
The Service is for business users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18; if you believe a minor has submitted data, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We will post updates at bizlio.co with a new version number and effective date, and for material changes we will notify you by email where we hold one. We will never retroactively weaken the commitments in Section 2 without your affirmative consent.
